International Human Rights Day

10 December, 2008 is the 60th anniversary of the United Nations Declaration of Human Rights.  

The Northern Territory Anti-Discrimination Commission in conjunction with the Multicultural Council of the NT (MCNT), will be holding a function to commemorate this extremely significant day.  This event will also include the launch of the MCNT 2009 Harmony Calendar, a collection of art works themed around "Human Rights", produced by children throughout the Northern Territory.
